I recently attended a “Feel Good” workshop held by a few member-owners Steve, Diane & Sam(antha).
This unique workshop synergized their expertise in yoga and life coaching to provide all attendees a few tools to leave the event simply feeling good. I had one of those funk clouds following me for a few weeks and thankfully the workshop helped me clear the skies.
The moment of clarity came after re-visiting the goals I wrote down during the workshop and making sure that they were all rooted in my values, which was an exercise we did as a group. I realized that my values and the co-op go hand-in-hand in the same way being local and sustainable do. The “a-ha” moment made me bust out in song, singing “I feeeeeeel good! *duh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh* So good! So good! I got the coop!” Well… not really but it certainly was that James-Brown kinda feel good moment 🙂
