On May 30th, at 12PM Noon, grass roots activist Pamm Larry, of the Committee for the Right to Know, will be visiting San Clemente to speak about the upcoming November 2012 Ballot Measure requiring food manufacturers to label genetically modified food ingredients.
For the last few months, you’ve seen volunteers gathering signatures outside local markets and farmer’s markets. Their goal was to acquire 500,000 registered voters signatures on a petition to be on the November 2012 ballot.
And, Californians responded – nearly 1 MILLION signed!
Come meet the grandmother responsible for this GMO Labeling movement, why it is so important to you and your family, and what you can do to inform others.
The San Clemente Community Market will be co-hosting the event at Hanson’s Market located at 415 Avenida Pico in San Clemente. Come join us!
